The Carer visits / stays at the individual's home on an ongoing basis. The Carer can fulfil personal care and general household duties. The level of care provided varies, depending on the individual needs. It can range from general companionship and housekeeping to personal care.
Kinetic Nursing Service will endeavour to meet all enquiries across England and Wales. We maintain a strong pool of trained and qualified Carers who are able to travel at short notice. All our Carers are managed from our offices based in South Yorkshire.
A breakdown of costs will be provided once we have tailored a package to suit your requirements. The cost will depend on the level of care that we have been asked to provide and an individual assessment will be made. Our aim is to provide a cost effective and transparent service.
Kinetic Nursing Service will make every effort to maintain continuity of care for each individual, providing the service is working well. Kinetic Nursing Service maintain a strong, consistent pool of care staff who are experienced and qualified.
Kinetic Nursing Service only recruits experienced Carers / Nurses. As part of the interview process* we discuss the Carer's professional background, level of knowledge, skills & experience. All new Carers attend Kinetic Nursing Service's comprehensive induction package, which complies with the Common Induction Standard.
Induction Topics include:
Moving & Handling, Emergency First Aid, Principles of Care, Role of the Care Worker, Needs of the Service User, Incontinence Care, Basic Infection Control and Abuse Awareness of Vulnerable Adults.
Kinetic Nursing Service are a recognised Umbrella Organisation with the Criminal Records Bureau. All of our Carers / Nurses undergo a thorough CRB check as part of their initial interview, as well as being checked against the ISA lists.
Kinetic Nursing Service Domiciliary Care team will be responsible for the allocation and ongoing supervision of the care you receive. Following on from your enquiry, we will meet with you in person to see how Kinetic Nursing Service can best meet your needs.
Once care is establised and in place, we will meet you on a regular basis and take this opportunity to assess our Carers / Nurses in practice.
Both you and our Carers / Nurses will always have access to help and support 24 hours a day via our helpline 0845 408 1083.
Once your care package starts we will guarantee cover. Should your regular Carer / Nurse be sick, we would immediately arrange cover until they are better. We will make all attempts for this Carer / Nurse to fulfil the exact same criteria.
Holidays are only authorised well in advance with the Kinetic Nursing Service Domiciliary Care team so that suitable replacements can be allocated.
The Contract is designed to formalise the agreement between Kinetic Nursing Service and our Customer. Kinetic Nursing Service will also supply a Service User Guide.

a. With funding provision now becoming more readily available, Domiciliary Care has become a more viable prospect financially.
b. Kinetic Nursing Service are able to work flexibly with multi-funding sources. We are able to offer a variety of payment methods, including Direct Debit, which will be discussed on an individual basis.
c. The funding for Domiciliary Care is varied, it may be that you are able to fund the service privately, social services may also provide full or split funding through direct payments, or possibly the Independent Living Fund may be approached for financial help.

Attendance Allowance
Attendance Allowance is a tax free benefit for people aged 65 and over who need help with personal care because they are mentally or physically disabled.
You may get attendance allowance if:
You have a physical or mental disability or both.
Your disability is severe enough for you to need help caring for yourself.
You are aged 65 or over when you claim. (Aged under 65 see Disability Living Allowance)
Attendance allowance is not usually affected by any savings or income. The amount that you get depends on how much your disability affects you. There are 2 rates available.
Disability Living Allowance is the same as Attendance Allowance but for children and adults with a physcial or mental disability who need help with walking or personal care and who claim before the age of 65.
Carers Allowance is a benefit to help people who look after someone who is disabled. You do not have to be related to or live with the person you care for but you must be aged 16 or over and spend at least 35 hours a week caring for a person who gets either Attendance or Disability Living Allowance.

Direct Payments
Direct Payments are local council payments for people who have been assessed as needing help from Social Services and who would like to arrange and pay for their own care and support services instead of receiving them directly from the local council.

Independent Living Funds
Independent Living Funds are set up and financed by central government and are dedicated to the financial support of disabled people enabling them to choose to live in the community rather than in residential care. ILF disregards a clients earnings and that of partners so that you can continue to earn without losing any funding.
